Charlene Ripley
President

Charlene A. Ripley is Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Ms. Ripley joined Norcen Energy Resources Limited, a predecessor to Anadarko Canada Corporation, in 1997 as Senior Counsel and was named Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in 1998. She was promoted to Vice President for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in January 2003. She assumed her role as chief legal officer for the company in November 2003, the role of Corporate Secretary in September 2004 and the role of Chief Compliance Officer in February 2006.

Before joining Anadarko, Ms. Ripley was in-house counsel for Amoco Canada Petroleum Company Ltd. from 1990 to 1997. Prior to that, she was an attorney for a law firm based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Ms. Ripley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Alberta. She earned her Law Degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Emmie West

Emmie West is an associate in The Woodlands office of Andrews Kurth, L.L.P. Emmie graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of Law Review. Emmie's practice includes complex commercial litigation, with emphasis on representation of clients in the oil and gas industry. Catherine Palmore

Vice President, Membership

Ms. Palmore is an attorney with The Woodlands law firm of Gauntt & Kruppstadt, L.L.P. Ms. Palmore attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.

Ms. Palmore typically represents and defends insured individuals or companies in matters such as automobile or truck accidents and other commercial liability matters. Ms. Palmore's practice areas also include personal injury litigation, consumer protection, commercial litigation, and civil appeals.

Ms. Palmore is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, The Woodlands Kiwanis Club, and Mims Baptist Church in Conroe, Texas. She is the founding member and President of The Woodlands Young Lawyers Association, and she is the President-Elect of the Montgomery County A & M Club.

Rachael Rolon

Vice President, Community Relations

Ms. Rolon practices with the lawfirm of Drucker, Rutledge, & Smith, L.L.P. Ms. Rolon was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1999. She was admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas. She is also admitted to the New York Bar in 2001. Previously, an Associate for Kaye Scholer, L.L.P. in New York, New York and Fulbright and Jaworski, L.L.P. in Dallas, Texas.

Ms. Rolon attended The University of Texas School of Law and The University of St. Thomas.

Ms. Rolon is a member of the Houston Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Associations, The Woodlands Bar Association, Texas Women Lawyers Association and a participant in the 2005 Leadership Montgomery County

Allan Reitzer

Vice President, Development and Promotions

Mr. Allan J. Reitzer graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Healthcare Administration. He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi International Honors fraternity.

Mr. Reitzer is a member of the American Bar Association, Texas State Bar, Texas Young Lawyers Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, and currently serves as Vice President for Development for The Woodlands Bar Association.

Mr. Reitzer's primary areas of law practice include family law and personal injury. Mr. Reitzer is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and United States District Court, Southern District of Texas.

Douglas B. Whiting

Secretary

Mr. Whiting is a corporate and transactional attorney located in The Woodlands. Mr. Whiting graduated with an M.B.A. and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from The University of Utah. Mr. Whiting has been practicing since 1984 and is admitted both the Texas Bar and California Bar.

Mr. Whiting has negotiated and closed over $13 billion worth of transactional business activities during his practice.

Mr. Whiting is a member of The Woodlands Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, Houston Area Chapter President, J. Reuben Clark Law Society, and has served as Judge Pro Tem in the San Diego County Municipal & Superior Courts

Sue Turney

Treasurer

Susan practices corporate and business law at Stibbs & Co., P.C. located here in The Woodlands. Her practice encompasses general business representation, counseling companies and individuals on a large range of business issues--from formation to merger/acquisition, the negotiation and drafting of all types of commercial contracts, employment issues, corporate governance and commercial real estate. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of South Texas College of Law where she was a member of the South Texas Law Review.

Chad Gauntt

Director

Mr. Gauntt began his legal career as an associate with the Houston office of Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P. in the insurance defense litigation section. He moved his office to The Woodlands in 1993 and co-founded the law firm of Gauntt & Kruppstadt, L.L.P. in June, 1998. Mr. Gauntt is the author of Exploring the Examination Under Oath Process and Recent Developments in "Bad Faith" Law, papers he has presented as the speaker for continuing education courses for Texas insurance adjusters.

Mr. Gauntt typically represents insurance companies in first party insurance matters, including mold, foundation, and arson. Mr. Gauntt's practice areas also include mediation, third party insurance defense litigation, personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, consumer protection, medical malpractice, and aviation accidents. Mr. Gauntt is an instrument and multi-engine rated private pilot and travels extensively on firm business in the firm's twin-engine aircraft. Mr. Gauntt is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and Faith Community Church in The Woodlands.

Karen West

Karen is the Vice President and General Counsel of The Woodlands Development Company. She has worked for the developer of the master planned community known as The Woodlands since 1984 when she graduated from South Texas College of Law doing primarily transactional work in real estate and contracts.

Karen is active in community and volunteer organizations having held board and/or officer positions with The Woodlands Pavilion, the NHMCC Foundation, the South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber, Montgomery County Emergency Assistance, The Texas General Counsel Forum, and Klein ISD.

Walter Browning

Director

Walter Browning is Vice President and General Counsel for Chicago Bridge & Iron. Mr. Browning was appointed as VP and General Counsel of CB&I in 2004. Mr. Browning is responsible for directing the companies worldwide legal activities from his office located here in The Woodlands.

Mr. Browning's background includes management of corporate legal affairs, including acquisition and divestiture programs, litigation, contract review and negotiation, labor relations, risk management, claims resolution and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Browning holds a law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law and is one of the founding members of The Woodlands Bar Association.

Bruce Tough

Bruce Tough is a private practice attorney who is engaged in the legal practice of civil trial litigation in The Woodlands, Montgomery County and the surrounding counties. Since Mr. Tough's admission to the Bar, he has tried numerous cases in state courts throughout Texas representing plaintiffs or defendants in bankruptcy, criminal law, business representation, contract law, employment, business and construction litigation, personal injury, and family law litigation. Prior to establishing his own law firm in 1987, Bruce was employed as an associate with Thomson & Elkins, a creditor rights law firm who specialized in collection and business representation.

Mr. Tough is very active in his community as he is also a member of the Houston Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association (Director 1990), College of the State Bar of Texas, Pro Bono College of the State Bar of Texas, and the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program and even honored as a "Hometown Hero" for The Woodlands 30th Anniversary Gala and honored with Persons of the Year by "People Scene" in 2004.
